SE Science Coach Consortium
This year there will be eight (8) meetings in time to the theme "Rooting Our Way to Student Achievement". We will use target tests, benchmark tests, EOC tests, and various data to address the Root Cause of student failure. Science Instructional Facilitators and lead science teachers are encouraged to attend to keep up to date on state initiatives as well as best practices in science. This group is best served if you can attend all meetings, however, it is not mandatory. Science Coaches will have an opportunity to earn a special instructional resource to be given at the end of the school year based on a facilitator's portfolio that will be due in May. Lunch will be provided at every meeting.
