East Asian History by the National Consortium for Teaching about Asia
A Seminar on East Asian history and culture
is being offered June 15-25, plus a half day on November 14. Stipends, free materials, and books for your library are available to qualified participants. The number of participants is limited to 20, and qualified applicants will be considered on a first-come first-serve basis.
Participants will receive a $500 stipend distributed in two installments and $200 worth of books on China, Japan and Korea. After teachers complete all aspects of the seminar, each participating school’s library will receive an additional $300 for materials on China, Japan and Korea.
