CRESC - Mental Health Symposium

This two day conference will be held at the Embassy Suites Conference Center in Jonesboro, AR and will offer CRESC educators the opportunity to learn the best practices related to mental health for themselves and for their students. Trauma-Sensitive environments create safe havens for students and safe working environments for educators. Research shows almost all educators encounter trauma-affected students, whether they know it or not. This session focuses on student emotions, safety & security and adverse childhood experiences, along with strategies to help students de-escalate and regulate emotions and behavior.
