ADMINISTRATOR'S FORUM: STUDENT HANDBOOKS AND ON-CAMPUS STANDARDS REVIEW (OSR)
Student Handbooks: 8:30 - 11:30 A.M.(1) Introductions and opening remarks (2) Overview of Student Handbook issues (3) Standards for Accreditation as applied to Student Handbooks (4) Discussions of Laws and Policies as related to Student Handbooks (5) Questions. It is recommended that school personnel bring a copy of their student handbook, current board policy manual, and any potential changes or updates to current student handbooks. On-Campus Standards Review-OSR Checklist: 12:30 - 3:30 P.M. (1) Introductions and opening remarks (2) Overview of the day of the OSR visit (3) Review each item of the OSR checklist (4) Questions. It is recommended that school personnel gathering information for the OSR visit bring a copy of the OSR checklist which may be found in Commissioner's Memo COM-14-015 dated 8/13/13. Personnel may bring any information with them which may be helpful when reviewing each item of the OSR checklist.
