Portfolios as an Important Tool for TESS Implementation
This session is specifically designed to provide participants with information on the role of portfolios in the Teacher Excellence Support System. For teachers who serve in non-tested areas, portfolios play a critical role in the new evaluation system. The participants receive a copy of an electronic portfolio they can use and share with their colleagues. Participants will receive written information regarding artifacts, portfolios, a listing of artifacts identified by Arkansas educators, participate in a job- alike discussion of what appropriate portfolio documentation could include and have access to a portfolio design that they can share with their staff.
