GREC-INJURY PREVENTION 101



Injury Prevention 101 is an eight module course designed to offer basic training to health care professionals in injury prevention and public health program planning and implementation. The first four modules offer a basic overview of injury epidemiology and prevention. Modules 5-7 are designed to provide an overview of the program planning process, including where and how to access data, partnering with community champions, program planning and evaluation. Module 8 is an interactive session which plans an evidenced-based injury prevention program in the area the presentation is given. CEUs are offered for ARNA, CHES, ADE AND EMS.
