NEA - Lunch n Learn by Classworks and NWEA Overview of MAP



Morning: Please join us for a Lunch n Learn at 10 am on Thursday, April 3! Tim Martin will share information about Classworks, an award-winning, cloud-based solution which provides highly rated assessments, high quality instruction and robust reporting to support the Common Core! Classworks' rich ELA, Math and Science instruction and assessment is an easy-to-use tool which empowers the teacher to meet the diverse and individual needs of each student. Lunch is provided!

Afternoon: NWEA Overview Our presentation will include discussions surrounding research-based assessments for grades K-12, End of Course assessments, Science assessments, ACT correlations studies, and the use of growth data.
• NWEA introduced the nation’s first computer adaptive educational assessment in 1985—but our roots go back to the 1970s, when paper-based testing ruled.
• Our mission, “Partnering to help all kids learn,” drives our organizational decisions.
• We have the largest growth research database in the world, over 4.5 billion test events.
