Picture Perfect Science Day One
Engage students in scientific inquiry through the use of carefully selected picture books! This training will support teachers in their quest to blend science and literacy. It is designed to increase student understanding of science and support the implementation of CCSS. Day One will consist of theory and guided practice. TESS components emphasized in this learning include: 2b(Establishing a Culture for Learning); 2c(Managing Classroom Procedures); 3b(Questioning, Prompts, and Discussion Techniques); and 3c(Engaging Students in the Learning).
