NAESC Field Trip to Crystal Bridges
Teachers and administrators will tour the educational facility to learn about five centuries of American masterworks ranging from the Colonial era to the current day. Included within the collection are iconic images such as Asher B. Durand’s Kindred Spirits, Norman Rockwell’s Rosie the Riveter, and Andy Warhol’s Coca-Cola [3]— each reflecting a distinct moment in American artistic evolution—as well as major works by modern and contemporary American artists, including Georgia O’Keeffe, John Baldessari, and James Turrell. This educational opportunity will allow educators to make an informed decision about a future field trip with their students.
Important Session Information:
This will be at Crystal Bridges in Bentonville. Educators are responsible for their own travel and lunch. We will meet at 11:00 and have lunch at the museum. We will begin the tour at 12:00.
