NAESC 6+1 Trait Writing
The 6+1 Trait® Writing Model of Instruction & Assessment is an analytical writing tool that develops a common language among educators, parents, and students ensuring everyone has a clear understanding of what makes "good" writing. Teachers and students are able to pinpoint areas of strength and weakness enabling them to give quality feedback concerning the writing. 6+1 Traits of Writing is evidence based and endorsed by ACT Aspire. During this training participants will learn criteria to drive instruction and see how the traits align with the ACT Aspire Rubrics.
