Problem solving, conflict resolution, anger management, and de-escalation/relaxation strategies are imperative tools needed to create and foster a climate conducive to learning. This workshop will help participants: 1. gain an understanding of problem solving components, 2. recognize the benefits of teaching conflict resolution and application of strategies, 3. identify the levels of anger and four de-escalation strategies to use in the classroom, 4. explore positive outcomes that can result from an anger management program, and 5. practice implementing relaxation.
