NAESC Agri Seminar Day 1
The day will begin at the Cave City Ag , that morning. You will travel to the sand mining quarry and tour how they mine the sand and process it for use in fracking for the natural gas industry. The supervisors of the operation will talk job placement and skills needed in this type of operation plus the different levels technology dealing with this type of industry. ONE REQUIREMENT OF ATTENDING THIS WORKSHOP IS THE ATTENDEE MUST BRING THEIR OWN HARD HAT. This is due to OSHA standards. The group will return to Cave City for lunch and then and then travel to Unifirst corporation in Cave City for a tour of their manufacturing facility. There will be a question and answer time with the management staff. Unifirst is a manufacturing facility that produces different types of commercial rugs and mats used by cleaning and rental companies.
