WDMESC: PPYC Advisor Training
Workshop Description (include source of research): This PPYC Advisor Training will help teacher/youth leaders
learn how to plan effective projects and activities for their students. Advisors will receive a toolkit and
other tobacco prevention resources. The Project Prevent Youth Coalition (PPYC) is a student-led tobacco
prevention organization coordinated by Arkansas Children’s Hospital. PPYC has local chapters across the
state of Arkansas. These coalitions are coordinated on a local level by teachers or people who work with
youth who wish to make their community tobacco and nicotine free. For more information, visit
