WDMESC: Student Success Plan Support
Districts are invited to bring their team to revisit their SSP process. Schools should bring their plans and be prepared to spend 10 to 20 minutes sharing their SSP experience and processes- slides, informational documents, or just a review of the actual plan.
Participants are invited to identify areas of strength and areas schools are struggling with prior to coming. We will break into small groups of 3 to 4 districts to allow for supportive feedback during discussion time.
Goals for the session are:
Review of the requirements of the law
Utilize planning document provided in initial training (bring the docs with you)
Share Plans
Form groups and give and receive feedback after sharing
Discuss as a whole group regarding the identified areas where processes need to be strengthened
Provide District Team Time
