GFESC Language Accessibility for English Language Learners (technology)
Meeting the linguistic needs of students as quickly as possible can lower the affective filter for students promoting a language inclusive environment. How can we do this? This workshop will show you extensions and apps to quickly meet the needs of your students in your classroom with examples on how to use your existing resources with your students and how you can use language accessibility features to promote participation and building background knowledge. In addition, you will be shown ways to maintain contact with parents for documentation purposes and to create a positive connection between student, teacher and home.
