OUR Grasping Phenomenal Science (GPS) 101
This virtual workshop is the first of a series of three workshops designed to prepare teachers to provide instruction that aligns with ATLAS expectations; instruction that engages with all three dimensions of the NGSS science standards (disciplinary core ideas, science and engineering practices, and cross cutting concepts). Participants will gain an understanding of how students benefit from Phenomena-driven instruction, examine the 3 dimensions of the AR K-12 science standards, and practice identifying relevant and engaging phenomena.
