NWAESC(2095)-Refining a Building Thinking Math Classroom
In this session, we will go deeper into Peter Liljedahl's factors for developing a thinking mathematics classroom. We will explore how to organize the physical space, launch tasks, use hints and extensions to maintain flow, and consolidate learning in a thinking classroom. We will also discuss how to organize and plan for a week of instruction. It is highly recommended that participants have either attended the "Building Ambitious Thinking Mathematics Classrooms" session or have been implementing BTC strategies in the classroom.
