Planning, Curriculum Mapping and Resources for the Arkansas Social Studies and Disciplinary Literacy/ELA Standards



Learn strategies to plan out your social studies course with the new social studies state standards and the grades 6-12 disciplinary literacy standards or the K-5 ELA standards.  Examine instructional resources and materials from disciplinary organizations in history, geography, economics, and civics and contribute your own favorite resouces.  Participants willl leave with a pacing guide for their social studies course, created during the workshop based on the new state standards.  

Important Session Information:


A $100 FEE WILL BE DUE ON THE DAY OF THE TRAINING IF NOT PARTICIPATING IN THE DMESC PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT CONSORTIUM.
