Emotional Poverty 1.0, developed by Ruby Payne, provides best practices that work in the classroom to address anger, anxiety, and violence. It gives information about brain regulation, teaching emotional competence, managing behavior, and the differences in male and female emotional processing. Attendees will better understand the origins of anger, anxiety, and avoidance. Practical tools will be given to promote emotional regulation and motivate good behavior.
