DSC De-Escalation Techniques for the Classroom
Newly encountered behavior challenges in the classroom have led teachers in search of techniques to de-escalate classroom behavior. This session will look at de-escalation techniques to use in the classroom that applies for the entire class and individual students. Participants will learn how to notice signs of behavior change before behavior reaches Tier 3, how to form a connection with a student and how to redirect the student back to Tier 1 behavior.
Important Session Information:
