DSC 2 Part Session: Supporting Students During Difficult Times and Enhancing Feelings of Safety
AM session (8:30-11:30): This training introduces school personnel to concepts related to childhood trauma, how it impacts development and how it might appear in the classroom. PM session (12:30-3:30): In this training, school personnel will learn why students and staff impacted by trauma need safe environments to learn and work in. Participants will also learn how to foster a sense of emotional and physical safety for students, staff and families in both the classroom and the broader school environment.
Important Session Information:
