DSC Python Programming for Year 1 - High School CS Professional Development



Join the CSforAR team for this 2-day workshop designed specifically for teachers teaching a Year 1 Python Programming course. This engaging session centers on enhancing your computer science skills and integration of the standards directly applicable to a Year 1 Python Programming course. You'll participate in hands-on coding activities and diving into relevant topics based on the standards in the Year 1 Python Programming course (e.g., cybersecurity in Python Programming). This is a perfect opportunity to enrich your knowledge, engage in collaborative learning, and bring back valuable skills to your classroom. If you would like to extend your knowledge further, we encourage you to also consider joining us for the Python Programming for Year 2 & 3 training. Visit the Computer Science PD Document for an updated schedule of sessions. Target Audience: Teachers interested in teaching Year 1 Programming using the Python programming language. A LAPTOP IS REQUIRED.
