GFESC Enhancing Inclusion for Students with Severe Disablities



This professional development session will focis on Enhacing Inclusion for students with severe disablilites. This topic covers a range of instructional strategies that fall under this category include co-teaching strategies, multi-sensory strategies, technology enhancements, learning frameworks, inclusive classroom climates, and universal design for learning. 

In addition to instructional strategies, this topic also covers engagement strategies that can help to keep students motivated and engaged. Engagment strategies covered in thist topic include partner work time, goal setting, developing a classroom climate statement, information dessemination, and self-reflection. By incorporation these stategies into your teaching approach, you can create a more inclusive and engaging classroom environment that supports the learning needs of all students.
