Adverse Childhood Experiences

The Adverse Childhood Experiences’ study helps us to understand how early trauma impacts the brains and bodies of children, cascading into learning and social/emotional skills building.  We will review the study, how it impacts classrooms, and how to begin to respond.  This course is a full contact sport.  Be ready for self-discovery, introspection, reflectiveness, and stretching outside of your comfort zone.  Our goal is empowered teaching.
(3 hours of PD)
