ARESC-Inspiring Learning by Engaging Learners
Are you looking for ways to plant seeds of joy in your classroom and make learning (and teaching) fun again? Join Arkansas A+ Fellows to explore how experiential learning in math and literacy can bring joy back into your classroom. Experienced educators will model integrating arts into the curriculum and employing various assessment strategies. Participants will be challenged to modify these experiences for use in their own classrooms. This workshop includes ideas and resources for K-5 grade levels. Teachers will: ? Walk away with specific ideas about how they can incorporate arts integration techniques into their classrooms immediately. ? Grow their comfort in incorporating experiential learning techniques into their classrooms. ? Learn enriched assessment strategies that can be used to evaluate student learning in non-traditional ways.
