Active Learning Strategies for Social & Emotional Learning

More than ever, students are struggling with their emotions and social interactions.  From a growing reliance on screens to a general fear of challenge and failure, students need to feel safe and supported in their clasroom.  In this workshop, teachers will learn activities that foester a safe and risk-encouraging environment and facilitate open dialogues to create empathy, understanding, and resilience.  Led by veteran teacher, teaching artist, and active learning consultant April Gentry-Sutterfield, this workshop will help you create a place where every voice is heard and every perspective is valued.
