Active Learning Strategies for Academics
Traditional 20th Century teaching styles don't work for today's 21st century students. AToday's student needs stimulation and active engagement to learn. In this workshop, teachers will learn a series of active learning techniques that can be applied to any content area. Led by veteran teacher, teaching artist, and active learning consultant April Gentry-Sutterfield, this workshop will help you increase student retention of an investment in learning.
