AFESC-Can your students write amazing narratives for ATLAS? Yes they can!

Students need to write amazing narratives before they can move on to the other ATLAS genres of writing. Why? You can teach even the most apprehensive students to write amazing narratives. Join this session to learn more about the ATLAS narrative. We will study the rubric, study the best way to teach students the organization of a narrative, discuss the benefits of text to speech, and learn/master techniques that enhance narratives, create instant organization, and help students with elaboration (ie. writing longer narratives)

This session will address instructional strategies most appropriate for the following levels of instruction:

Tier 1.
