CTE Teachers interested in obtaining their OSHA 10 instructor certification will sit through a TWO-PART SERIES PD
June 18-21, 2024 - OSHA Part 511: Instructors will receive a copy of the OSHA General Industry Standards. You will be given a 35 question multiple choice test upon completion of this course and must pass.
June 25-28, 2024 - OSHA Part 501: You will be give a 35 question multiple choice test at the end of the course. Upon successful completion of the 501, you will receive a card from OSHA signifying you are an Authorized OSHA Outreach Trainer for four years from the completion date of the 501. You may then train your students on OSHA10 instead of them working through the virtual program in your courses.
The fee Part 1 is $700. The fee for Part 2 is $700. This is Perkins allowable.
**NOTE--You MUST have 5 years experience in industry or as an Agri/T & I Teacher to participate.** You will receive an email from Jennifer Snyder, CRESC CTE Coordinator, regarding additional hotel information upon registration.
