WHAT is COGNITIVE COACHING? Cognitive Coaching delves into the fundamental aspects that influence teacher learning and development, focusing on teacher cognition. Instead of trying to "correct" individual behaviors, this approach enhances the cognitive processes that produce behavior. Coaches support and enhance long-term sustainable growth for teachers and success for their students.
