GFESC Mental Health Exploration: Virtual Escape Room & Empathy in Action for Mental Health Educators (VIRTUAL) (PM)

Explore our interactive virtual Escape Room and delve into the latest research around mental health--our emotional, psychological, and social well-being affect how we think, feel, and act. This session explores the latest information around adolescent and adult mental
health with synchronous and asynchronous learning, breakout sessions, and lively discussion boards. In addition, we’ll touch on resources for mental health, child development, suicide prevention and self-help.

We work together to refocus on building our support network through mindfulness practices and strategies. We will delve into the dynamics of today's educational landscape. School counselors, school social workers and school psychologists recognized as crucial champions in nurturing student well-being, will embark on an interactive journey. Our goal is to empower counselors and their colleagues with the essential tools, strategies, and insights necessary to construct a resilient and effective mental health support system within their schools—a unified force we can aptly term our 'Mental Health Army.'

This session promises an enriching exploration of practical approaches to bolster the well-being of our students, our parents, and our faculty. As a community we innovate together while we consider the ever-evolving landscape of education.
