AFESC-AGFC Project WILD Environmental Education Workshop
Project WILD is an education program rooted in nature that helps educators bring the outdoors to their students. Workshops participants learn about the natural world through hands-on experience they can pass on to their students. Workshops matching state and national standards offer valuable education and lesson plans about the natural world. Although the lessons presented at the workshop will be focused primarily on Science, a variety of subjects will be covered and instructions for incorporating lessons into such subjects. Each participant will receive a 150 lesson curriculum guide at not charge. Participants will also receive a variety of other materials to help teacher the lessons in the classroom.
