SE Solar Eclipse
This session is designed to help educators understand the phenomenon of a total solar eclipse and to provide information specific to viewing the total solar eclipse from Arkansas on April 8, 2024. In the morning, participants will receive an overview of eclipse safety and resources for obtaining safe viewing equipment for schools. After lunch, educators will explore constructing safe solar viewers, education resources, and how the eclipse relates to the Arkansas State K-12 Science Standards.
