SCSC- Cybersecurity for Year 2 & 3 - High School CS Professional Development



This 3-day workshop is for those who hold the 528 Computer Science Teacher Certification, 5014 or 5016 Computer Science Approval Code, or have completed the 30-hr ADE approved professional development. This workshop aligns with the year 2 and year 3 curriculum standards for Cybersecurity. This interactive workshop will introduce participants to the basics of cybersecurity that will include, but are not limited to, ethical and legal considerations, hacker methodologies, digital forensics and incident response, network forensics, cryptography, reverse engineering, writing scripts, and more. 

Important Session Information:


For member districts of the SCSC Professional Development Consortium the fee has been waived. Districts that have not paid for nurses and/or paraprofessionals will pay the listed fee. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks). Participants are not allowed to bring guests (such as children or spouses) to any training.
