School-based Identification of Dyslexia: Utilizing the Dyslexia Characteristic Profile The course will cover a review of the current definition of dyslexia, the core principles of dyslexia identification, case studies, and step-by-step procedures for analyzing assessment data. This course will prepare educators to be informed members of the school-based teams making decisions regarding the identification of students exhibiting the characteristics of dyslexia for placement in dyslexia intervention programs
