AFESC-Year 1 Novice Teacher Institute



This two-day event is specifically designed for educators who are entering their first year of teaching. Required sessions on the novice teacher mentoring program expectations, the TESS evaluation model, and classroom management and Professional Ethics will be part of the conference. Breakout sessions on multiple topics will be offered in order to differentiate for participants. Topics for breakout sessions include classroom community, content, technology, and more! BOTH DAYS ARE REQUIRED FOR ALL YEAR 1 NOVICE TEACHERS IN DISTRICTS THAT ARE PART OF THE ARCH FORD NOVICE TEACHER MENTORING PROGRAM.
