OUR Letter by Letter: The Elements and Principles of Design



Dive into the fundamentals of using flat brushes to create beautiful and
dynamic letterforms. Unleash your creativity while using various techniques
to add flair and style to your lettering. This workshop will incorporate the use
Art Elements and Design Principles to enhance your lettering compositions,
as well as discussions and activities for facilitating cross-curricular
applications. From foundational strokes to composing words and phrases,
you will practice the essentials of flat brush letter calligraphy and create
artwork using the compositional fundamentals of art. Whether you’re a
beginner or looking to refine your skills, join us for a day of hands-on learning
and leave with new skills, information, and ideas to take back to your
classroom whatever subject you may teach.

Important Session Information:


This session requires a minimum of 10 to make.

Maribeth Anders will be the instructor for the session.
