We all know CGI is a game changer for both teachers and students, but how do we use it in conjunction with HQIM like Eureka Math, Reveal Math, and Illustrative Math? The fantastic news is that because CGI is student centered and helps enrich teachers’ pedagogy and implementation of excellent teacher practice, it can serve as an amazing support for any math curriculum. In this session, we will review the “tights” of a CGI style problem solving lesson and investigate where those non negotiables can be, or more likely, already are, in your high quality instructional materials and how to leverage them to maximize your math time.
