While this day is designed for k-5 teachers who are using the Illustrative Math curriculum, because IM centers can be accessed for free online, anyone who wants to learn about how to access and utilize centers for extra concept or fact fluency practice are welcome to attend this training. We will learn how to navigate the IM centers website, how the centers are designed and laid out, and different ways you can organize and implement centers. Finally, in the afternoon we will spend time putting together 3 of the centers that you will be able to take back and use in your classroom.
