ARESC-Accelerating Science Learning: RTI (Response To Intervention) for Collaborative Teams

Are you eager to ensure all students achieve success in science regardless of their learning challenges? This dynamic professional learning session empowers science teachers to use a Response to Intervention (RTI) framework for maximizing student growth. Drawing from the groundbreaking work of Kramer, Sharon V., and Sarah Schuhl. Acceleration for All: A How-to Guide for Overcoming Learning Gaps. Solution Tree Press, 2023, this session helps collaborative science teams answer the four critical questions that drive effective RTI implementation: What do we want students to know and be able to do? How will we know if they learn it? How will we respond when students don't learn? How will we respond when students already know it? We'll delve into the three tiers of RTI instruction, exploring how they strategically align with the learning cycle to promote deeper scientific understanding.
