AFESC-Conducting Difficult Conversations



Central office administrators and building-level leaders are expected to address performance or behavioral issues that may occur with colleagues, direct reports, parents, peers, and even family members. Many conversations fail in their delivery because the speaker lacks confidence, courage, and skills to hold or conduct successfully a difficult conversation with others. This session equips administrators, regardless of their role or position, with easy-to-use and memorable steps to conduct a difficult conversation that is respectful, coach-like, issue driven, and solution-focused.

Important Session Information:


Current educators in Arch Ford PD Consortium districts may attend the session for free.  All others will be required to pay the session fee on the day of the session.  Arch Ford educators receive priority for seats in a session.
