The intended outcomes of this session are to assist participants in leading a classroom environment that promotes collaboration, leadership, student voice, and that is safe and conducive to learning. The workshop will address all areas of classroom management including, but not limited to, engagement, organization, communication, and resources and support.
The facilitator for the session is Angela Maize, current principal in the Monticello School District. She is a NBCT, a published author, and master teacher. In addition to serving as principal, she has been an assistant principal, dean of students, and teacher. She has presented workshops at the local, regional and state level. She is passionate about student learning and also adult learning facilitation.
