SWAEC- Tools for Teaching High School Economics + Personal Finance (9-12)



High School Educators: Come and fill your toolkit with engaging lessons and resources that will help your students build a firm foundation of economic knowledge and financial literacy! Economics Arkansas is providing some tools to help you be successful in teaching the revised standards in the High School Economics with Personal Finance course. It will be a fun-filled day of lesson demonstrations, activities and discussions to enrich your teaching practices. Plus, you will take home lots of great resources valued at $60, including two essential books. In addition, verified high school educators under contract for the 2024-25 school year will receive a $50 eCheck stipend. Don't miss this chance to enhance your teaching toolkit and prepare for the upcoming academic year!

For SWAEC Professional Development Consortium member districts, the fee for this session has been waived. Members and non-members will be assessed a “no show” fee if you register and do not attend. In the event of cancellation, registrants will be notified by email (address tied to escWorks) and no one will be charged a fee.
