GREC - Forrest City - Mathematics for Construction



Participants will discuss the importance of fractions, formulas, ruler reading and basic geometry and how they relate to construction. With this understanding, the participants will be able to encourage students to pursue C.T.E. and S.T.E.M. programs based on understanding a greater understanding of real world approaches. Over the course of two days (6) hours each, we will spend the following:

Day 1: 3 hours theory and 3 hours hands on application

Day 2: 2 hours reflection and questions based on hand on application. 1 hour additional theory. 3 hours hands on application.
