ARESC-Conducting a District CyberSecurity Self - Assessment
This session is intended to equip you with foundational information regarding cybersecurity and how to conduct a self-assessment of your district. Topics that include identifying existing cyber risks, investigating mitigation strategies, and increasing defenses against attacks. The avenue for cybersecurity evaluations is the Cybersecurity Rubric (CR) which is available for free to anyone interested in conducting high-quality cybersecurity evaluations for a school system. The Cybersecurity Rubric serves as a guide to review a school’s current cybersecurity level using the cybersecurity framework for education.
Important Session Information:
Participants not under contract with ARESC's Member districts will be charged a fee of $25 per day, or $15 per half day. Payment is required prior to the event session.
