AFESC-Supporting ESOL Students in the General Education Classroom: Strategies for Success



This one-day workshop is designed to equip educators with practical strategies and tools to effectively support English as a Second Language (ESL) students within the general education classroom. As classrooms become increasingly diverse, it is essential for educators to have the skills and knowledge to create inclusive learning environments where all students can thrive. Throughout the workshop, participants will explore various approaches to accommodate ESL students' needs while promoting their academic and linguistic development. By the end of the workshop, educators will leave with a toolkit of practical strategies and resources to effectively support ESL students in their classrooms, ultimately promoting their academic success and fostering a more inclusive learning environment for all students.
