SWAEC- Behavior of Kids, Behavior of Parents: How Do I Manage it All in Today's Classroom?

Whether you are a first-year teacher or a 20-year veteran, chances are that you have at least one area of classroom management you would like to improve upon. Managing the behavioral, social, emotional, and learning needs of 20+ students has always been critical, but in today's climate it is one of the biggest challenges most educators face. Improving your overall classroom management skills or simply sharpening a few well established strategies or techniques is exactly what the session addresses. · Setting up for success-the management of prevention! · Responding to challenging behavior · Building positive relationships with your students that foster respect and compliance · Building positive connections between home and school that support your "authority" as a teacher · The relationship between engagement and order in the classroom
