SCSC -On the Rope: where do librarians fit on Scarbrough’s Rope?

Used throughout the Science of Reading, Scarborough’s Reading Rope illustrates multiple strands of reading skills woven together, creating strong reading proficiency. The roles of a school librarian link to each of the eight strands on the Reading Rope. In this session, we will explore how the roles of a school librarian and the school librarian standards align with the strands of language comprehension and word recognition to strengthen reading proficiency.

TESS Components addresses are 4E, 1C, 1F
