"Cabot K-2 Reading on Grade Level: What does it mean and how do we get there?"
We will cover what reading on grade level looks like at each grade and discuss how to use our instructional materials effectively so that our students are able to apply the skills they are learning to text. Participants will need their computer, Phonics First curriculum guide and Phonics First lesson implementation guide. In the afternoon, we will work in grade level teams to develop targeted lessons and assessments that address both grade level reading proficiency and phonics skills.
