ARESC-MyPlate/Energy Drinks
We will review how to read and understand the food label, discuss MyPlate recommendations and how to shop using those recommendations, and discuss how increasing portion sizes can be a hazard to our health. We will examine what energy drinks are and their ingredients, discuss the health effects of energy drinks, and focus on healthy ways of maintaining energy.
Important Session Information:
Participants not under contract with ARESC's Member districts will be charged a fee of $25 per day, or $15 per half day. Payment is required prior to the event session.
